Destination Guides

I have written Destination Guides for many places which I have visited, some well-known and many off the beaten track.

Each guide is split into two parts:

  1. Overview
This will give you an idea for the ‘vibe’ of each location, helping you to decide if it is somewhere you would enjoy. For larger countries like Australia, I have given an overview of each state and territory so that you can better organise your trip and prioritise where you spend your time and money.
  2. Specific Recommendations
Here I list some specific locations to visit, many of which are great hidden gems which I have either stumbled across or heard about from word of mouth. I also rank each specific location here with how much I enjoyed it, how unique it is and how accessible it is. I also provide an easy link to each one so that you can conveniently add the ones you like to your Google Maps, taking the hassle out of planning.

Photos note: All of the photos you see on my website, including those in my Destination Guides, are taken by me or of me!

Unlike many travel websites, I provide all of my guides for free with no obligation or email sign-up required. I appreciate this isn’t very shrewd of me from a business perspective, but being asked to pay for something upfront without knowing what’s in it winds me up, so I won’t inflict that on you! If you do like my resources though, then feel free to check out my ‘Support Me’ page to donate or sign up for updates. Thank you!

If you would like to keep up to date with new releases, be sure to leave your information on my Support Me page. If you have found these resources useful, then I would also be very grateful for any donations. Many thanks, Andy Argo
